Project Description
Client: Bank of America
Location: Chicago, IL
Surface Area: 20 stories / 1,056,000 square feet
Year Completed: 2012
Project Scope: General Survey / Asset Management
Originally built in 1924, 231 South LaSalle is considered one of Chicago’s architectural jewels – best known for its dramatic four-story Grand Banking Hall. Most recently home to Bank of America and now other top national investment banking firms, the building has undergone a dramatic transformation and become a key destination for Chicago’s most well respected businesses.
The Challenge
Due to an upcoming space reconfiguration for Bank of America, Measure Up was tasked with developing square footage calculations for specific floors of the building. In conjunction, our scope included documenting specific workplace conditions on a floor plan for asset management purposes.
