Project Scope: Hotel Fire Safety Plans

Located within the newly construction 90 story supertall skyscraper that also houses One57, one of New York City’s most luxurious condominium residences, is the 210 room Park Hyatt New York. Developed by Extell Development Company, the opening of Park Hyatt New York marked an important milestone for the Park Hyatt brand which is growing in the world’s most important gateway cities. Situated between 6th and 7th Avenues on West 57th Street in Manhattan, the hotel has a prime 57th Street location and is in walking distance from Central Park and historic Carnegie Hall.

Working on a deadline to acquire their TCO, building ownership selected Measure Up to create a comprehensive Fire Safety Plan for the 210 hotel portion of the brand new skyscraper. Working alongside with the developer’s fire safety consultants and architects, Measure Up prepared a Fire Safety Floor Plan consistent with the format and requirements set forth in the NYC Fire Code.
