Project Description
Client: Vornado Realty Trust
Location: Washington DC
Surface Area: 7 Million Square Feet
Year Completed: 2012
Project Scope: Existing Conditions Floor Plans
Spanning over 7 million square feet, Crystal City is a one of a kind location on the shores of the Potomac River in Arlington, Virginia. The site is served by abundant transportation with close proximity to Reagan National Airport and the Pentagon. Vornado’s oversees this unique urban neighborhood – which is comprised of office, retail, hotel and residential uses.
The Challenge
Measure Up was contracted by Vornado Realty Trust to conduct a multi-building survey of Crystal City in order to create accurate, laser measured Core, Shell & Demising drawings (CSD’s) of many of the campus properties. This also included creating drawings and documenting existing conditions of all roof and parking levels. In conjunction with our drawings, our scope included determining updated square footage BOMA calculations for many of the properties – which were used for leasing purposes.
